Unlike the Nova, the Fabbri shade is created using three horizontal hoops, rather than two, giving a tighter twist and striking curvature to the ash hardwood we use. The contoured wood is created using our steam bending technique and lovingly finished with brass fixtures, after being sanded and oiled by hand.

The meaning of ‘Fabbri’ in Italian is ‘craftsman’, which seems wholly appropriate given the level of care and attention which goes into making each and every one. The light cast through the twisted strips casts light and shadow in a pattern which looks unlike almost any other shade.

The Fabbri has an elongated design which makes it look sleek and elegant, while being robust enough to make a statement in almost any room. Whether the light is on or off, it’s clear to see the design purpose of this shade.
